I was in the queue waiting to pay for my petrol when this song came on. My phone was in the car so couldn't 'Shazam' it so I'm hoping someone can help, based on the following limited information.
1. Vocalist sounded like Peter Gabriel
2. The track had a quasi-religious, 'chant' feel to it, though it was definitely a pop song
3. Couldn't decipher any of the lyrics except the phrase 'yay-yay-yay-oh' was repeated often throughout
4. It wasn't 'Biko'!
Any help gratefully received as I liked it.
It doesn't exactly fit but it's getting loads of airtime.

Across The River by Peter Gabriel fits the description but is a bit obscure to be played in a petrol station.

If that is not the song Roger is looking for, I will eat my iPad!

It was fairly upbeat / quick tempo (or quicker tempo than Return To Innocence)
Thanks for all your help - it may have to remain an Enigma (Christ, I am so 'next level' it hurts)

Do you want any sauce with that?
I must admit I thought that was going to be the song. I've been singing it to myself since yesterday!
I am intrigued to know what this song is.
