Okay chit-chat music meisters, I need some help identifying a song.
I was in the queue waiting to pay for my petrol when this song came on. My phone was in the car so couldn't 'Shazam' it so I'm hoping someone can help, based on the following limited information.
1. Vocalist sounded like Peter Gabriel
2. The track had a quasi-religious, 'chant' feel to it, though it was definitely a pop song
3. Couldn't decipher any of the lyrics except the phrase 'yay-yay-yay-oh' was repeated often throughout
4. It wasn't 'Biko'!
Any help gratefully received as I liked it.

Across The River by Peter Gabriel fits the description but is a bit obscure to be played in a petrol station. |
