had mine done last Oct cost 6k. That was the door widened and rehung to open out, tiled floor to ceiling, xpelair and the non slip flooring done plus the shower and electrics and painted. Mine doesn't have a tray as such, loads of floorboards were removed to accommodate a big moulded fibreglass sloping tray that is then covered with the non slip flooring. If you're not disabled and have to lose your main bathroom I wouldn't bother.

Thanks for replying BB - £6k doesn't sound too bad if it includes everything but the more I think about it, the more I am not sure. Will have to have another chat with the Missus..........

Don't bother, had one put in for my Da and besides the logistical probs we started getting midges all over the place. I was then told the shíte that gets clogged in the 'plug hole' was a breeding ground for the ikkle phuckers. Anyways the Da hated it..
