what annoys me about these stories are the way those who want impunity to call out anyone else who doesnt think how they do.
It doesnt matter what rhetoric they use to justify what they are, whether they call it 'love' or not the fact is some wont approve and its their right to think that.
When I was young these two blokes had a fair to middling chance of having their heads smashed in against the porceline and when my father was a kid theyd have been thrown in jail or chemically castrated.
So really are they that badly off if somebody says they dont approve of seeing it in public?
Religion still doesnt approve and sees it as degenerate however they tip toe around it.
They should consider themselves fortunate they dont reside in pakistan etc

I dont mind either, but I recognise the rights of those who might find the actions of gays to be against what they believe.
People have been reading religion for millennia, modern society does its best to continually water it down so they can get away with more.

One of the things I loved about my last boyfriend was that he always wanted to hold my hand, anywhere in public, from the moment we left his place. Seeing that I am an old hag and he was younger than me it made me feel really loved. So to deny gay people the right seems mean. The more this is done the more people will accept it.
Contrast this to when I was with a woman for four years a long time ago. We lived in a rough white neighbourhood, there were still some about then, and she wanted to hold my hand but did not because she had been abused by the oiks and was afraid for her safety.
A lot of gays are just people like you and me but born into the wrong body. They have the mind of a girl, say, but have been born into a male body. Probably due to all the chemicals, pollution etc.

Actually the bible from my understanding implies you have to judge other's actions.
It is suggested that the events that make up the story contain a myriad of righteous and non righteous events and that the observer needs to determine which are right and which wrong.
It is said for eg the incest by Lot upon his daughters was allowed simply to show possibility and that the impact of such actions can then be seen.
Just as the religious might point towards the supposed blinding of the male residents of sodom for desiring to bum the Angels in male form, and the subsequent anilation of both sodom and Gomorrah as a result.
