We must not forget the communist party introduced birth control in China.
This has enabled China to escape the poverty trap it's own population size was condemning it to. No other party would have had the power to do this. I think overall the modern Chinese should be grateful to communism( I am excluding Mao's time in charge). They now have to deal with the problem of an aging population, but it still better than where they were. in my opinion only. |

China need to be watched they are slowly taking over the world.
They own Aston Villa, Wolves, Birmingham City and West Brom football clubs. The West Midlands is going to be the epicentre of the proxy invasion. They also own Inter and AC Milan which would be another point of entry. Not to mention all those Islands they've taken over in the East China Sea. Lets not give em the the UK's power switch eh? |

Leopard, the 200 million baby girls killed is a world wide figure, for all countries where parents prefer boys to girls.
It is only an estimate as well. You cannot put that on the communist party, this attitude predates communism. I think China has done well. I also think we need a country strong enough to stand up to the USA, who have abused their power since the Soviet Union fell. and given us the Credit Crunch! I believe it is the USA's totally unwarranted interference in the Middle East which has kicked off the trouble we now have with the Muslims as well as being not far short of an atrocity itself, looking at the appalling death toll. |

I oppose the killing of baby girls.
Neither do I understand the point????. I would rather live in a society where there are 10 baby girls to every one baby boy. Then us men get a wider choice of partners, and more sex  |

The price guaranteed to the French and Chinese governments is £92.50/megawatt hour for Hinkley and £89/megawatt hour for Sizewell (the one in Essex to be designed and built by the Chinese). That price is guaranteed for the entire life of each plant. There are further guarantees for the price to rise should it ever need to in order to protect profit margins.
The current price of electricity is £48/megawatt hour, and in a world awash with cheap gas, coal and oil is falling. |

But we do have to think of climate change....we have to trap the carbon and then we have to bury it, although it does not harm us like nuclear waste. |
