Im up for anything, but sailing in a balloon is not for me.

TBF a parachute in a balloon is a good idea. I think they used to wear them in spotter balloons in ww1.

I wonder if the unfortunates were fried by the electricity cables, burnt by the basket catching fire or died due to sudden impact on the ground?

And subsequently.....will their relatives still believe in the greatness of their god?

All electrocuted sounds a bit wrong, electricity follows paths and a basket hung below a balloon and the people IN the basket doesn't sound like one it want to take. For example, birds can sit on a single power lines fine.

The basket or chute may have also touched the pylon creating a path to Earth resulting in a large current.

Thought this thread was going to be about Chris Evans no longer being in charge of booking the acts for his shows.
