Yes Thursday nights at W City, Stan Bowles was there a lot when he should have been training. LOL Stamford Bridge dogs, Park Royal, etc etc. Was never that keen on Wembley, but liked Wimbledon.

Yes he hooked up for a while with Jonny Hollins and Rachid Harkouk, not unusual to see them in Ravenscourt on a Sun afternoon knocking 6 bells out of kids, Harkouk punching the air when thundering a shot past an 8 year old WAC he was Hollins no better.

Sat was Music night for me. I won just under £1600 from John White in 63 at Sandown John would always stand a hefty bet, gave it back to him at Stamford bridge a couple days later, WAC I was, that was a small fortune then, I had no sense of the value of money growing up in a racing family.
