We had someone murdered by a Somali in a park 1/2 mile from me, Alice Gross was murdered 1 mile from me by Latvian maggot, Bomb in Ealing Broadway by Continuity IRA, in the riots an old autistic guy was killed by 1 punch

Lived in Ealing for years, and yes JS, big Polish community going back to WW2. It used to be called  'Queen of Suburbs'. does not apply anymore. Sad It now looks great in my rear view mirror.

LBC still call it The Queen of the Suburbs, there is a Polish Church near Ealing Broadway Station, still very nice near EB , large residential area with £800,000  3 bed semi-det houses

Saw most groups in the Goldhawk club, The Who played it about every 3/4 weeks in the 60s jusB up the road in Richmond the stones played the Craw Daddy, followed by the Moody blues, then the Yardbirds, beck Clapton, Page.

Yes Box , I managed the Mecca that became Hills I think Down the askew, was Trainee/relief Manager then became relief Manager for Lads ...Managed alot of them in West london 2 in Ealing the big one in Acton High and a few others ,plus some in Sw london

Mecca, won and lost a good few quid there, getting a couple of hundred on back then was no problem, The John manly shop became a Laddies. next to the Sun.Used to take phone bets from me no account crap then.
