Can anyone explain how this isn't violent?
am i reading it wrong or something!
Pickthall: They long that ye should disbelieve even as they disbelieve, that ye may be upon a level (with them). So choose not friends from them till they forsake their homes in the way of Allah; if they turn back (to enmity) then take them and kill them wherever ye find them, and choose no friend nor helper from among them,
Arberry: They wish that you should disbelieve as they disbelieve, and then you would be equal; therefore take not to yourselves friends of them, until they emigrate in the way of God; then, if they turn their backs, take them, and slay them wherever you find them; take not to yourselves any one of them as friend or helper
Imams in mosques around the world wouldn't be allowed to stray away
from these 2 different accounts of the verse that much so isn't it pretty obvious
where the problems stemming from?
No lets just bury our heads in the sand and tell all it's a religion
of peace

the Ideology is in the Quran - all their doing is following the rules/guidelines. You obviously get a % that know the violent verses but will either ignore them or make out they mean something totally different - but it's pretty obvious how people are getting radicalised when the basics of the Quran suggest this is the right behaviour |

Lay the laws down first Ron, should have been the rule.
That needed to be done in the early days instead of creating a monster. Lets go one step further & start teaching bit's of islam in British schools!  i don't think anyone's got the stomach to deal with it in Europe - it's to far broke/riddled.....god knows where this failed experiment will end. |
