That advertisement with the little lad (Alfie) who has a tube coming from his nose providing blood or plasma as he smiles with his mother singing a song to him - absolutely breaks my heart every time I see it

What a horrible disease it is; doesn't distinguish between young or old

Lets hope there might one day be a cure
