Liverpool shiite and a tattoo to prove. His Grandad live's there but it's foreign football to me. My daughter, the graduate who is now a qualified teacher. I wish she'd teach me lol And my youngest who teaches me to program miserably, I wish I could party like him as he's with a different bird every week. I said above why would anyone want a kid but I've just gave 3 reasons to counteract it. What she teach , qualified at 21 ffs no wonder the kids learn nothing these days |

I did tell a porky, she graduated in Music that allows her to teach but maybe not as a fully qualified teacher. Still proud of her and james nesbitt told a joke or 2 at the graduation.

As far as I'm concerned, I discharged my duty to the next generation when I blundered through a year trying to teach English in a school abroad.
Of the two women I've lived with, the first did want children, but not with me thank you very much, while the other one simply detested the little scrotes and couldn't see why anyone would voluntarily muck up their life by acquiring one. I was fortunate enough to buy a yearling a few years back who won a few races. Maybe some men are blessed with inspirational children and others with a winning racehorse. On the whole I reckon I still would have taken the latter if I'd been offered the choice. |

As you can tell i'm seeing it from the point of view of someone who does not have kids. He does get out to the zoo as his daughter loves it and he seems happy |

The purity of a young child is a great thing to witness.
The simplest activities bring great joy to them and just being there and involved is priceless. We have just been to look for baby fish as the Thames is clear in the sun. |

Good post.....the most important thing is to pick a woman who is sane and a nice person as you could be tied together for 20 years or more because of any children.

It's not too late if you're in a relationship and the other half wants one too. 42 is late for a woman though so if you are not in a relationship you better hurry up.
I've got 4 kids, the oldest is 19 and the youngest is 10. The important thing is they are all healthy and happy which I think they are. Tbh I only wanted 2 kids as I thought I couldn't cope with more, and if it wasn't for my incredible wife I doubt I would. They've bought me many moments of pride and joy, but it's also relentless as the above poster says. I'm lucky though, that they have such a good mother and me a good wife. The pressure of children can often lead to divorce and when there are kids involved, it's the man that gets screwed, as I've witnessed with a couple of friends. |

Life is insane - one minute they are covering
a mass killing in NICE and then they go cover a golf tournament. I wouldn't want my future chipped family with their apple pay tattoos to face what's coming. I'm hoping I can dodge what's coming. Bringing up your sons and daughters in the future world with increasing vaccinations and new pandemic threats sounds just dreamy. Tv is getting worse too. So it's all hitting the fan.I leave the earth to the capable hands of the towie generation. |

Having kids is a gigantic risk, though, isn't it. My life experience has taught me that some people are happy and some aren't, and parents only have so much control over the situation. Good parenting can only get you so far; what happens if you have a fatal heart attack on your kid's fifth birthday, or your child is genetically prone to depression, or the world is about to enter a decade of economic depression followed by war?
I gamble with money, not babies. |

Your genes (ref: the selfish gene) are programmed to send copies forward....if you fight that then you may get problems.
You can also promote your genes by supporting your brothers and sisters and nephews and nieces who have 25% of the same genes as you. |

By:
Correction : Brothers and Sisters has 50% or more the same genes

My friends at school was a grade a student. Passed all gcses.
Went to local grammar school 6th form and found dope. He has achieved nothing and caused great stress for his family. His two brothers are the opposite. Very successful and done well. The grief he caused was immense but they do all they can as he is their flesh and blood. |
