I was over there recently visiting relatives, and the overwhelming thing I saw was that neither of them are rated. If I were going to bet though it would be Trump as he did seem to be the most popular of the pair. The FBI are coming in for plenty of stick as loads of people think they swept the Clinton email saga under the carpet, and despite their recommendations to the Justice Department that she face no charges the damage has been done in the eyes of many. I also haven't anything official yet that the JD have not acted on the FBI's suggestion.

it'll be the fruitcakes listening to Alex Jones claiming Donald still has a chance, backing him.

With the electoral college vote system he will get absolutely battered. To show what a hole he is in he is only a single digit lead over Clinton in Texas -which would normally be way higher for the Republican candidate eg Romney carrying Texas by 16 points in 2012.

I think Trump has just garrotted himself by picking Pence as his VP elect..

I am told that Trump has a chance because the Clintons are so detested. Source a Canadian political journalist.

don't know where you got your figures from Hank but the last poll I saw for Texas just over 2 weeks ago gave him an 8pt lead

Burton why do you persist with the delusion that Donny is going to win, the black and Hispanic vote will go the democrats by a big margin and most sane people too
|

anx all I have said is that of the people I spoke to ie family and their friends he was the most popular. They all seem to be a bit disillusioned with the political outlook over there, even the wonderful Obama seems to be pretty much despised. All I am saying is it would not surprise me if he does it, much will depend on the hatred of Clinton and there's plenty of that. He will certainly come closer to winning than Jezza and his brownshirts ever will.

Its a pity you haven't got a postal vote for poor Donny |

In my world BB 8 is a single digit lead

To put it clearly if he is not beating Clinton by a double digit lead in a GOP stronghold like Texas the way the US system is set up he will get severely beaten in the electoral college count.

By:
sorry Hank I misread it I thought it was a single point

no probs BB.I only used Texas as an example as I follow the politics there, as my inlaws live there. Basically they don't like Clinton, but won't vote Trump.

|
By:
Huntsville near Houston originally. Though most of them live in Houston now. Whereabouts did you visit for family?

By:
my boy lives in Rutland Vermont with his wife and kid, I have an Aunt in Florida but the bulk of my family live near Baltimore in Maryland.
|
|
By:
Never been tempted to live there BB? I spent a very nice few years in Texas. I've done Mass, but never Vermont. Would love to one day.
