ironic really that the CoE oppose same sex marriages but are quite happy to sodomise young boys

Might get one up on the media but they'll never beat CC.

That link in the OP talks of one priest 40 years ago......
Of course it was wrong to cover it up, I hope they have learnt their lesson. |
|
By:
I still oppose same sex marriage
|

sorry wrong link

By:
I can't have same sex marriage either & even sillier is letting them inflict
the odd ways on children by letting them adopt ![]() |
|
By:
I certainly condemn that alpha centauri
, I hope the guilty are punishedI believe in better morals all round in our society, there is far too much emphasis on sex not enough on traditional family values This does of course include no child abuse! I have am glad we have improved on that But I see a slip back in other values. |

What happens when the childs at school sports day & they have the Dads race?
Surely this would cause boooing from watchers, 2 dads being in one race |
|
By:

or an unfair advantage, obviously the fastest dad enters the race

Children need a Mother and Father. We have far too many single parents in my opinion
I am not sure two of the same sex improves this much. |
|
By:
Children need a Mother and Father.
erm that sounds to normal to me! imo it's totally unfair on the adopted child to end up with 2 parents of the same kind - a high % imo would grow up to be strange/odd or even maybe dangerous people? after all it's not normal is it even though we're being made out to make out we approve ![]() |
|
By:
I agree Ron so I don't approve unless there is nobody else to adopt them.
|
|
By:
We are Gay tolerant society which is right.
But I feel we do keep a line between what is in fact two societies, Hetero and Gay. I feel is the sensible and safe way.....Gay marriage has never been tried before in Human History????????????????????????? |
|
By:
as you say, who has the say so to say it's right when the by far majority
knows it's nothing short of sick. normal people know whats right & wrong & i'm never gonna be brainwashed into thinking that's normal - i dare say that's me crossed off Elton Johns Christmas card list this year ![]() |

Ron - I'd stick to your specialist subject if I were you. This one is stretching you a bit.
"imo it's totally unfair on the adopted child to end up with 2 parents of the same kind - a high % imo would grow up to be strange/odd or even maybe dangerous people? after all it's not normal is it even though we're being made out to make out we approve Crazy" Oh the wonders of normality. |
|
By:
Oh dear blackbarn.
Im guessing your backing 2 Dads running in the same race at the kids School sports day. very odd ![]() |
|
By:
Ebulgery "Gay marriage has never been tried before in Human History"?? They didn't bother with heterosexual marriage for roughly the first 90% of Human History.
|
|
By:
It's not normal, it's one down from barbaric imo.
You can't brainwash normal people blackbarn - end of |
|
By:
next blackbarn will be saying it's totally normal for men to have sex with goats,
what planet are you on man? get in the real world ffs |
|
By:
That may be Blackbarn but there is still no gay marriage?
I am afraid some men may Ron, the goats ![]() |
|
By:
Ron - I don't know. I don't really understand your preposition.
Are you describing a situation where a homosexual couple adopt a child, and then both of those parents attend that child's future Sports Day and that you are guessing that I would be cheering for both parents if they were running in the dads race together. Is that what you mean? |
|
By:
obviously
|
|
By:
It was only a joke to start with - but made me think.

Dad 1
Dad 2 Shirts could be used ![]() |

That's a solution Ron

Ron - what is weird is that I regard myself as on this "planet" and normal - Mid sixties, retired, husband, father and grandad. I just don't recognise the world you often describe. I respect your views (well I dont actually, but for the sake of arguement) to equate "gay partners adopting children" with "sex with goats" is..... well, others can make up their mind. I do not wish to be offensive.

How does a child deal with classmates who have a 'traditional' family background' (which is most even allowing for single parent set ups) it must be fcking hell for them and a field day for bullies every day of the week.
|
|
By:
is this an apology post blackbarn?
you don't need to say sorry - you've obviously got your own thoughts, good luck. |
|
By:
bitf, live and let live.
if two consenting adults want to be together who cares? ron you sound like a conservative islamist. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

boxing - here in our village in rural Sussex, we probably have as many (or few) "traditional family backgrounds" as anywhere, but in our School of 200+ pupils we seem to have virtually every parent combo (mentioned on here) and it seems to work. I am not an expert but my wife is a School Governor.

|
By:
JS, I have no problem with that, my point is an adopted child does not have a REASONED choice in the matter and should not be put in such a position in our present society, FFS children can cruel for the smallest reasons without giving them such an obvious targe. What part of that do you not understand.

|
By:
Im no party - i just no what's right & wrong.
I might be told im racist or wrong now, but i couldn't give a s**t as when the time comes & it all goes t1ts up these scu* calling you it now won't be nowhere to be seen, they'll be begging we always thought well of you please don't cut our heads off |
|
By:
Ron - if you want to have a debate, stick with the facts. If you want to cop out with a silly cop out then fine. My posts are clear and the requirement for clear responses is clear. If you cannot be bothered to defend your silly statements then fine. Night night.

By:
Blackburn, that's good to know, but after 50 years living in london and now the living in the Midlands, sadly I would expect the situation of your village is the exception rather than the rule. My concern is for the adopted child and not the life choice of the 'parents'.
