Immerse yourself in something - hobbies, interests, work.
Then find someone else. |

Left foot on one side, lift right leg up to waist, move right leg to other side, place right foot down, lift left leg up to waist and place left foot down on other side. I hope this is of assistance.

I think give it time. Theresa might do an even better job.

Time is the only healer i'm afraid. Depends on the circumstances but could take years.
You will develop a hardness - a sort of protective barrier - to stop you falling too hard again. |

Send her some pictures of you hanging out the back of her sister/mother/french bulldog - that should do the trick.

I agree with I_agree_with_nick & Blackrock.
Keep your mind busy and don't look back. Is that Diane Abbot in your avatar, btw? ![]() |
|
By:
If that's you Jeremy ffs resign.Failing that if it is Diane who is the object of your fascination, then try to picture her wigless and naked apart from her customary pop socks tucking into a KFC party bucket and slavering . Shouldn't be a big stretch of the imagination.

By:
kidnap her and keep her forever in a specially build soundproof concrete room under your house and tell her everyday how much you love her. Works every time.

By:
Thanks for the advice guys some positive and funny replies. I feel like an idiot falling for her. I hope I will learn from it like you say BLACKROCK and form a hardened version of myself.
In regards to my picture, it is Diane Abbott ...I don't fancy her it's just a funny picture to have and I now how much she is loved on the forum ![]() ![]() MAKE MY HAY, are you Joseph Fritzl? |

Console yourself with the fact that at 7 years old she could never really love you back in the way you'd want!
|

Have you considered the possibility that it just might be your fault?
Of course that's an absurd thing to suggest. |

I have no idea what to say to them online GO ON THEN?
I did do guiness2dear and I don't really feel any better about myself. Thin and Crispy, I fell for her because she was the best looking chick I've been with and she was Spanish. Something different to the normal 5 and 6/10 I was used to. I perhaps put her on a pedestal a bit but she told me a couple of months ago she had no feelings towards me and just wanted to be friends. I couldn't take that when it's someone you like. |

It's a long shot.. But worth a try. Go on Mumsnet, Relationship section. Post your story from the heart. It's full of wronged rescue dogs looking for their forever home. You never know, you might get a bite. The sympathy card could prove your best chance. Go get em tiger!

Nothing worse than a needy person, man or woman. She's not interested accept it and move on.
I've seen a few blokes over the years become very bitter just because a woman didn't want them, so they take it out on all women as a defence mechanism....you can spot a few of those inadequates on this thread. |
|
By:
Haha I might do that for joke GoOnThen.
Perhaps your Russell Brand Thin and Crispy? I'm not particular needy, having to text each other all the time or whatever but to me, finding the right balance between putting in effort and not being needy hard to do. |

Anyone who has to resort to asking the advice of the Chit Chat massive on this topic really is in need of help.
|
|
By:
Well, it's full of older blokes who a lot of them I imagine, have been through the mill so to speak and have a lot of life experience.
A part from friends, who don't have much women experience, where else would you ask? |

It's also created some decent sort of banter

Just because someone is older doesn't mean they're not an idiot as this forum shows.
Find yourself a needy woman with low self esteem and you'll be fine. |
|
By:
If it's definitely over, avoid all contact with her - none of this "let's stay friends,
meet up for coffee now and then" stuff. It may be hard but as clean a break as possible is the best way, imo. And immerse yourself in work or get a hobby and time will do the rest (sounds corny but it's true) Pretty profound, eh. ![]() |

If you see Ebulgery about, you should ask him for advice. He's had some problems with women, but he's not bitter or anything. He got over it really well.

If we think anything of anyone surely it is natural to be hurt when they leave?
I did get over the women, it happened twice, but it had a very bad effect on my life I lost everything That is what I am bitter over, the women themselves don't hurt me know DONT FALL IN LOVE IS MY ADVICE?..easier said than done |

If you are still young you will probably get another chance.
Just try and hold yourself together, I became an alcoholic, I don't know if that is good advice? |
