As all the Pulp Paper Mills in the UK have shut down. Millions of tons of bales of shredded paper are being stored all over the UK rotting away, some goes to China but there is just too much of it, it has become a worthless product. There is only one Aluminium Smelter left in the UK, at Lochaber in Scotland . This plant has only survived because it has its own hydro electric to produce the energy it needs. All the rest have closed, along with the paper mills due to climate change policies, green energy tariffs and carbon emission taxes imposed by the EU and added too by our stupid Governments.
The councils have the population sorting their waste into little bins when there is no need, it is all sorted in waste stations as it would be if it all went into the same bin! Must control the people though, they like to do that. So next time you put out your recycling just remember it serves no useful purpose. Big Brother is laughing at you.
No one stopped to think that if they got all the nation recycling there would be so much of it that the product would become worthless.
Done for political reasons by people who have no idea what they are doing or what the consequence of there actions might be.

"I noticed the other day that half of my herbs and spices were over a year out of date, so I binned them. What a waste of thyme." I liked it! But I think I've herbed it before.

Mikael D'Haguenet 06 Jul 16 16:34 One wonders will we get sent back an Aluminum Smelter from America once Lochaber is no more?
Smelter from America? Brilliant!
Some people would walk 500 miles to see that.
