Embattled Jeremy Corbyn is 'held back' by his assistants after he angrily turns toward a female reporter who asked if he was running away from the Labour crisis

An angry Jeremy Corbyn had to be restrained after he confronted a female reporter who asked if he was 'running away' from questions about his future.
The under strain Labour leader was held back by aides when he turned around and approached the journalist in north London.
Mr Corbyn was walking across a field after he gave a speech at a 'Love Islington, Say No to Hate Crime' rally.

Wouldn't blame him if he did lose it. Whatever you think of him, the sh1t he is enduring with abuse from his own party, the opposition, the media and others is far beyond what can just be shrugged off as 'coming with the territory'. From the second he leaves his front door in the morning to the second he ducks under that tree outside his door again at night, he is constantly being told he is sh1t and should quit by all and sundry. That has to take its toll.

He is too old to take it.....should just relax and laugh it off....but he can't because he is too inflexible.

He is destroying the Labour Party and should FO right now !!!

1.01 He would have been a conscientious objector.
Report ReaseHeath • July 2, 2016 11:52 PM BST
He looked like he was going to offer the Sky bloke outside when he asked Jezza if he was going to resign during the Polish centre visit the other day.

That was just after they'd run an interview with Jack Straw who called Corbyn an incompetent pacifist.

He can't leave as lefties feel their in the right no matter how silly they might

A coup of the Labour has been organised by Momentum

It is not democratic

Labour will split and the ultra lefties can b*gger off and recite Karl Marx to each other in their authentic Islington hostelry.

I see Leopard..it wants the Labour party to move to the left

Maybe political parties should be made illegal.....each MP should vote on his/her conscience?
Report Ron-Russian • July 3, 2016 12:47 AM BST

Wow - you've got your finger on the button haven't you ?
Er - the coup has been organised by the Blairites .
Do hope this helps you !

Neither side of the Labour divide, the Blairites and the Corbynistas, will struggle to get back that core white working class Northern vote that commentators have been so keen to remind us were one of the reasons Leave won. That voting group won't be keen to hear that 'immigrants have enriched our society' or other such soundbites.

The party going forward that has a clear immigration policy, nothing like we have seen thus far, will always have one foot already in no. 10. I can see the Labour party continuing to tear itself apart on this point, whichever side wins this little mess they currently find themselves in. I'm stating this as a Labour voter as well.

I think he's referring to the period between Millibands resignation,
and the Referendum vote, as opposed to the current coup.

Hope this helps Wink

Momentum wasn't formed until one month after Corbyn was elected leader

hope this helps further

The suggestion is Corbyn is hanging on because he wants to crucify Blair in the Commons when the Chilcot report comes out on Wednesday.

I was delighted when Jezza became leader it was an amazing thing,a real breath of fresh air but it must be said that the man has been a realtor disappointment,to put it mildly.
Report bix • July 3, 2016 6:14 PM BST
Although I don't agree with most he says I admire him but feel he is not devious enough to be a successful politician. He just couldn't lie convincingly to pretend he thought we should stay in the EU. The Blair supporters also probably know what is in the Chilcot report and want him out before its publication.

Most of MP's remaining faithful to Jeremy  appear to be London based.
