It can't do any harm, and already has over 4,000,000 signatures, and rising rapidly.
I can't see that another "Leave" vote would occur as many that did vote "Leave" would change their minds after realising the implications!
On the other hand, "Remain" voters are going to be even more passionate about their vote.
The government has to debate on any petition with more than 100,000 signatures!

Jesus..are you lot still harping on about a second referendum?..it isn't going to happen GOT IT!..talk about a nagging toothache that wont go away.
^ no do not sign this petition. We are leaving Europe and we do not have to account to anyone but ourselves.

And anyway..how was it a travesty of justice...its called democracy..now run along and do something constructive with your day rather than whining and moaning about something that didn't go your way.
only one thing that Britain should fear now and that is baseness, the shame that we would feel forever more if this decision is overturned.

May or E.U. will choke.....they will give us another vote with some freedom of movement restrictions...Allow 16/17, poles and others to vote to make up the difference. Then job done.
If they was a party made up of ex labour mp's called '2nd Referenda', or 'Remain' or 'EU we love you'...

AP, I disagree with your opinion that it can't do any harm.
1. It would make original Out voters rightly furious, and probably exacerbate a lot of negative aspects associated with Outers (intolerance, nationalism etc.), not only in the UK, but all over Europe.
2. It would make a second Scottish referendum much harder to deny.
We've just got to go with it and hope it turns out well. So far, the markets appear reasonably healthy, anyway.
