This safety pin nonsense is beyond parody. The 'progressives' have never sunk lower than this.

They've seemingly stopped wearing wristbands now, because they suddenly became 'racist' last year as I recall.  There were even some particularly tragic, deeply disturbed individuals who likened it to the Holocaust.

The safety pin campaign was begun as a spoof by the satirical tweeter, Godfrey Elfwick. People were laughing their heads off as Remainers took the whole thing seriously. Will they follow up his further suggestion to wear a 'not on my watch' wristwatch which features a portrait of Farage on its face, inside a red circle and with a red diagonal line through it? In fact most of this tsunami of hate crimes is a phantom conjured up out of thin air.
