Are there any original members left apart from jeff?

I was wondering the same. The guitarist on his left looks just about old enough.

Jeff Lynne took on the 4pm ‘legends’ slot at this year’s Glastonbury Festival and all anyone could talk about was how he looked.

Specifically, how he looked exactly the same as he did four decades ago in the Seventies.

Jeff is the lead singer and sole constant member of prog-rock group Electric Light Orchestra and took on the iconic slot at this year’s festival bashing out hits including Living Thing and Shine A Little Love, but fans watching at home on BBC iPlayer couldn’t help but compare him to Dorian Grey.

‘His portrait in the attic must be in a terrible state,’ joked one fan, while another admitted that he ‘looks the same as when I saw him in 1976!’.

And they’re not really wrong.

Richard Tandy on piano is from the 70s/80s line up.

I dont believe rock or pop music was ever meant to be played with strings, or it rarely works when tried. You have to be a real master to pull it off which, in fairness, Jeff Lynne is.

they are all good - you would be amazed at how many youngsters are into this stuff usually a combination of modern with classics

but then both of mine are talented musicians and singers - so I guess their voice coaches/teachers etc are going to be much older and influenced by this era etc etc

plus of course the parents   so  I BLAME THE PARENTS  haha

oh this is too much!!!!
