I like this young woman, and she's written any number of excellent songs, for the most part beautifully sung. For someone of her wealth and fame she also appears very pleasingly down-to-earth, without any of the self-absorption of the American divas and mercifully free of the idiotic Amy Winehouse lunacy. 

She informed us during the set that this was "the best f***ing moment of my life". In the circumstances then I'd have thought she would have wanted to deliver a career-defining 'live' show.

No, what we got instead was several messed-up songs, cringeworthy banter between and even DURING songs and a sinking feeling of "Is this REALLY good enough for the world's biggest pop-star to deliver before a global audience and onsite punters paying fortunes to squelch in a disaster zone?".

A desperate disappointment. A less compliant audience would have made their feelings known. An event fit only for the easily-pleased.

^ agree with some of your comments but certainly wouldn't say a desperate disappointment, not at all. And yes her banter in-between songs is a bit cringeworthy, "Have any of you lot down the front had a p1ss. Have any of you had a sh1t ?" Celine Dion wouldn't have said that ! Adele did also use the F word a lot but she usually does anyway.

I do like Adele, but at times she is like a drunk Auntie at a wedding !

She can sing well live.

I wouldn't go to the end of the street to hear her but she makes people happy so that's good enough for I.

A good singer perhaps but she ain't exactly Barbra Streisand - very little charisma.

I don't like 75% of her songs but I liked her performance. better than the yanks who just come over shout glaston-berry a few times and take their cheque and F off back to America. Keep glasto as British as possible imo.
