Relax, take a deep breath and get on with the rest of your life. It's not the end of the world. You'll still have a roof over your head and shoes on your feet. You'll probably have a few quid less in your pocket but you probably had a few quid more than most anyway.

i'm not a stock picker tree but the banks are one of many things that could bring the whole system down. make sure you do lots of research.
