Newcastle tends to be more cross section with a large quantity of students who were expected to back Remain heavily with Labour getting chunks to follow the party line. That deficit of expectations could be ominous for Remain.

A lot of those civil servants are hacking in their motors daily to Four Lane Ends from areas like Northumberland and Wearside.
I'd expect Newcastle Civic Centre is a contender for biggest employer of constituents, as well as the 2 universities.

OK bb but it get nauseating that Milipede,Eagle,etc all parrot the line that it is a protest vote about austerity when Labour were confident of delivering a Remain majority. If I hear one more politician saying we have to listen I will smash my TV.
