I listened to Obama on the news he showed absolutely no passion, just the usual monotone robotic stilted delivery. Little wonder Trump is doing so well.

I gotta say I thought Obama was going to be a breath of fresh air when he was first elected.
But like Foxy says his delivery of speeches lack any sort of emotion and he kinda takes a middle of the road type of approach.

I have not made that mistake, I was simply saying that his monotone, robotic, matter of fact delivery (imo) has opened to door to anyone who with a seemingly impassioned delivery is regarded as a breath of fresh air, just as they did with him after listening to Bush.
