Not sure why Neil didn't pull him up on house prices falling if we leave. Remain campaign saying the youth should vote to stay in to secure a better future, but millions of youngsters haven't got a prayer of getting on the property ladder.

Surely it's in the interest of the young to vote leave or stay living with Ma & Pa until they're 57

Osborne won the argument.
Report jollyswagman June 8, 2016 8:29 PM BST
i think he just brushed off / ignored what brillo said, that's a bit different to winning the argument imo

Which question do you want an answer to?
Report jollyswagman June 8, 2016 8:36 PM BST
his predictions are a joke, how can you stand up for a chancellor who has missed all of his own targets time and again?

fwiw i think we're fecked either way
Report 1st time poster June 8, 2016 8:37 PM BST
most revealing thought must have leave or stay, osbourne admits the tripple lock on pensions in the real world doesnt really shield pensioners from inflation or rising prices on the high street,so no more bragging about the tripple lock in future i guess

The EU referendum is more important than a General Election.
Brexit vomits the fortunes of the ordinary Brit into the laps of Rupert Murdoch, IDS, Gove, Mike Ashley, Boris and Farage.
We will literally be taken to the cleaners.

Just watched this on catch-up, if you want to know what a Chancellor of the Exchequer looks like when he's just been rogered senseless on live tv, this was it.

It will be very interesting to see how Nige copes with the Neill onslaught on Friday.
Report jollyswagman June 8, 2016 9:01 PM BST
we already have been taken to the cleaners and we will continue to be whatever the outcome of the referendum

We've been taken to the cleaners by the bankers, the utilities, tax avoiding corporations and fat cat millionaires, supermarkets and rip off landlords. Nothing will change one way or another.
