Cameron given an easy ride...Farage was consistently interrupted and not allowed to answer the question yet Cameron was allowed to waffle on like some kind of political broadcast. As per usual the media are in the remain camp..shameful stuff by ITV

The 4 minute highlights was a hatchet job as well on ITV news. Shows Farage being interupted by the questioners but the questioners for Cameron sitting listening observantly then cuts off before they come back at him with other questions.

Poor Nigel.
Lost one to one exchanges with audience members!
His bigger problem is his stature compared to Cameron's. Subliminally, Cameron is a figure with much more heft.

BBC Knew the questions in advance and chose which audience members speak and Cameron still lost despite Aunties best effortsCrazy

It beats me how they can hype this as Cameron v farage, what a complete waste of time.

It was rubbish as an event, and totally useless as a debate

I thought it was pretty even and cannot see that program influencing many, head to head debates are what is required. There are stories going around that the aggressive black woman who had a go at Nigel works for the Huffington Post.

basicly none of these debates will change hardcore either side

40% in
40% leave
20% undecided or not voting

,the two coloured people who gave Farage most stick were invited into the ITV studios the back of six this morning to go over their points again, Piers Morgan says he will try and bring up their points to Farage again later in the morning.

No sign of any of the whites being spoken to about their opinions as of 7am when I left the house.

seems there was some truth in it after all

The audience member who aimed a race-based tirade at UK Independence Party (UKIP) leader Nigel Farage at last night’s ITV EU referendum debate is a Huffington Post blogger and host of a “black Millenials” podcast, Breitbart London can reveal.

(excuse me for being out the loop here but...) so what if she is? Audience member has job shocker and is interested in the issue she brought up.

The problem was it wasn't a debate.

Cameron was cute enough to know that Farage would murder him in a debate.

because pineapple this was supposed to be a Q&A answer session for ordinary members of the British public. She was INVITED to take part by ITV knowing full well that she runs a pro black blogging site and had an agenda, and it was also made sure she got to ask a question. If it was the BBC that had done this there would be an uproar.

But she was an ordinary member of the public. An educated one with a strong opinion based on (presumably) a good amount of research and fact, much like the pharmacist. Why should we give the key politicians an easy ride by giving them soft under-arm deliveries. Give them the tough questions that truly ask if they know what the hell they're talking about rather than just reverting to

Would you prefer if your "ordinary member of the public" was some knuckle dragging window licker from Luton asking some bland question that your man was fully prepared for?

Anyone who thought this Referendum was going to be fought fairly doesn't understand politics in general and Cameron's modus operandi specifically.

I didn't watch Cameron as he is a turd in human form but I thought it was good to see some educated, detailed and well constructed questions thrown Farage's way. The fact he couldn't deal with them perhaps shows up his and the Leave campaign's inability to deal with real nitty gritty issues rather than throw inanities around such as the fabled £350M, the magic passport that says GB (jeez that clinched my vote!) and all foreigners are here to rape your women, go on the dole and then blow them and us up.

Debate was a misleading title for the program ,being last to speak is a big advantage.

I'm really, really glad you've not descended to throwing inanities around and are keeping any pretence at debate based in the real world

the questions thrown at Nigel were curved balls and he did not even swing at them

dodgy got handed some perfect crosses to nod in

Even the BBC's  reported highlights are shockingly biased  .....what i would say is it means everyman and woman need to get off their erse  and vote out to counter what is on the other side ,its about so much more ,the foreign lass trying to call Farage a racist and suggest everyone who opposes mass immigration is an insight into the future ,its scary and lets make sure it does not become reality .
Its not racist to be opposed to unfettered immigration ,the fact people are saying otherwise is more of a reason to vote out not a reason to vote in .

I watched it and neither can say they came out on top.

The questions were suitably hostile to both. I don't think it will have made any difference as to how the audience watching at home will vote.

The TV and radio producers have a moral duty to abide by neutrality, they are quick to knock papers and Murdoch so they should refrain from planting audience members and questions.
