Q.) Can European citizens vote in referendum ?
Ans.) Citizens from other European countries - apart from Ireland, Malta and Cyprus - will not get a vote on whether the UK remains part of the EU. Malta and Cyprus are both Commonwealth countries. ^ Still doesn't explain the Irish entitlement angle. |

Clouseau knows his stuff, another interesting fact is anyone born in Ireland before April 1949, was both British and Irish as Ireland was only a free state but still a Dominion of Britain with a sworn allegiance to the Crown. The history of Briton and Ireland is entwined in many ways especially law.
