Is Paris really under seige?

No it's not don't believe all the crap you read or see

There are strikes and demonstrations right across France today due to the proposed reduction in worker's rights there.
Russia Today on the telly is a good source for European news.
It opens your eyes to what's going on in Europe with immigration especially, because very little is reported on the BBC.

Thank you for your sage words, Breedingmad.  I most certainly do not believe all the crap I read but, as Cripps says, I do believe what I see with my own two mincers.

I put the question to the board because I had been sent the link asking my opinion.  I thought it false, as I had heard no such thing.  I did some research - and found a further zilch.  Hence my question here.

France is in a right mess at the moment and the rest of Europe will shortly be following.  In my opinion.

Leave.eu and vote to leave the sinking ship before it takes us down with it.

the French have finally woken up to the 48 hour working week directive, that they wanted and got, is a total economic disaster.

Here's 4 hours of the protest that turned violent as police clashed with mask-wearing young demonstrators. Oil refineries and nuclear power plants have shut down due to mass strikes, staged by the trade unions. Planes and trains have also ground to a halt.

The sooner we leave the EU and are able to make are own rules again the better.

It wasnt approved by parliament for starters.

Also their overtime rates have been slashed for working hours over their normal week.

Did you know that their "normal week" is 35 hours? No wonder all the best French brains are now working in London.

^ and they'll still be there when we "Brexit".

... and they will be welcome.

Good on them making it easier to sack people is a disgrace and will encourage work place bullying. I hope they  smash the gaff up.
