Yep. Got a bit worried when i saw her price drifting before the orf. She should have been 1/10 but was trading 1/3
I went through purgatory with Gilles Simon .. |

By:
Well done mate. Nice one.

Eh

By:
Oh and ta very much. I went through more emotion with this bet than anything in the last 30 years...
By:
Brilliant! .... Not your personal torture over the bet, but getting it up. Normally always one gets beat, regardless of the price. What was the odds for the 8?
By:
2/9
2/9 1/2 evens 7/4 4/11 4/6 How Isner was 4/6 against a Brit albino was beyond me. 5/6 The 4/11 was the frog - Simon. His match trawled through 4 other matches. Mind you, he was the only bloke i backed. |
By:
Nice one. Save me counting it up, I meant total odds? Of the top of my head, that must be close to 50/1

By:
.... f brilliant mate, pleased for you.

By:
Sorry mucker; just over that..
Had it in 3 shops. |

The bastard would turn his nose up at pork (not kosher)
tyvm And the names were......... Rogers Osaka Radwanska Peronika Simon Beck Isner (sorry 2 blokes) SS |
By:
I thought only an Afghan Hound would turn his nose up at pork, lol.
.... ye have a good eye for Der wimin! ....I stopped betting on tennis when Evonne Goolagong retired. |
By:
I was sweating on Simon keeping me going in a bet I have still running. Having been battered in the first two sets he was then 4-2 down in the third facing a straight sets defeat, and 4-2 down again in the fourth, then Pella served for it at 6-5 too.
Definitely chalk that one up on the 'got away with one' board. |
By:
Aye Rog, as i said earlier on ere, purgatory because there was other matches going on the same time. Tbh i'd given up on it and threw a nifty on him 12 on ere. Wtched the other matches then they shifted to his when the comeback started..
By:
As ye can see the malt is kickin in
By:
Think serving at 4-2 down in the 4th he was also 0-30 down but held - that would have been curtains.
By:
I tend to back the ladies because i, they're quicker and 2, they is pretty easy to read. Can't believe i've said that about wimmin..
By:
i was trying to follow the score on ere Rog but as usual it was miles behind..
By:
I use the Livescore mobile app for the scores - can see them all in one go inc. point by point. Is decent for football too.
By:
That last game with Simon nearly finished me off. How many match points did he have?
By:
Don't bother Rog (iknow i should) i was too busy with Rasers
By:
He'd had one on Pella's previous service game and I think then another 5 or 6 on his own serve.
By:
Wish I had bought the bookings on this match. Ten yellows and two reds.
By:
What ye watching, Soutjh American?
By:
Felt like 20, Rog.
By:

You are spot on. Herzog made some cracking films in South America.
By:
Fitzcarraldo and Aguirre the best.
By:
Yep seen both of them and Nosferatu himself in them..
By:
I thought Mel Gibson ripped off Herzog in his Apocolypto
By:
Yeah, very much possible now you mention it, although tbh it never crossed my mind. Good film though, but not as good as Braveheart, lol.
Herzog and Kinski had a volatile working relationship. Almost murdered each other. Great director and great actor though, imo. |
