Looking good
Report guinness2dear May 25, 2016 8:24 PM BST
Yep. Got a bit worried when i saw her price drifting before the orf. She should have been 1/10 but was trading 1/3

I went through purgatory with Gilles Simon  ..
Report themightymac May 25, 2016 10:36 PM BST
Well done mate. Nice one. Grin
Report themightymac May 25, 2016 10:37 PM BST
One beat me for a Single Crazy
Report guinness2dear May 25, 2016 10:39 PM BST
Eh
Report guinness2dear May 25, 2016 10:40 PM BST
Oh and ta very much. I went through more emotion with this bet than anything in the last 30 years...
Report themightymac May 25, 2016 10:44 PM BST
Brilliant! .... Not your personal torture over the bet, but getting it up. Normally always one gets beat, regardless of the price. What was the odds for the 8?
Report guinness2dear May 25, 2016 10:52 PM BST
2/9
2/9
1/2
evens
7/4
4/11
4/6 How Isner was 4/6 against a Brit albino was beyond me.
5/6

The 4/11 was the frog - Simon. His match trawled through 4 other matches. Mind you, he was the only bloke i backed.
Report themightymac May 25, 2016 10:55 PM BST
Nice one. Save me counting it up, I meant total odds? Of the top of my head, that must be close to 50/1 Shocked
Report themightymac May 25, 2016 10:56 PM BST
.... f brilliant mate, pleased for you.
Report guinness2dear May 25, 2016 11:12 PM BST

I thought only an Afghan Hound would turn his nose up at pork, lol.

.... ye have a good eye for Der wimin!

....I stopped betting on tennis when Evonne Goolagong retired.

I was sweating on Simon keeping me going in a bet I have still running. Having been battered in the first two sets he was then 4-2 down in the third facing a straight sets defeat, and 4-2 down again in the fourth, then Pella served for it at 6-5 too.

Definitely chalk that one up on the 'got away with one' board.
Report guinness2dear May 25, 2016 11:38 PM BST
Aye Rog, as i said earlier on ere, purgatory because there was other matches going on the same time. Tbh i'd given up on it and threw a nifty on him  12 on ere. Wtched the other matches then they shifted to his when the comeback started..
Report guinness2dear May 25, 2016 11:39 PM BST
As ye can see the malt is kickin in
Report Roger The Butler May 25, 2016 11:41 PM BST
Think serving at 4-2 down in the 4th he was also 0-30 down but held - that would have been curtains.
Report guinness2dear May 25, 2016 11:42 PM BST
I tend to back the ladies because i, they're quicker and 2, they is pretty easy to read. Can't believe i've said that about wimmin..
Report guinness2dear May 25, 2016 11:43 PM BST
i was trying to follow the score on ere Rog but as usual it was miles behind..
Report Roger The Butler May 25, 2016 11:44 PM BST
I use the Livescore mobile app for the scores - can see them all in one go inc. point by point. Is decent for football too.
Report guinness2dear May 25, 2016 11:45 PM BST
That last game with Simon nearly finished me off. How many match points did he have?
Report guinness2dear May 25, 2016 11:46 PM BST
Don't bother Rog (iknow i should) i was too busy with Rasers
Report Roger The Butler May 25, 2016 11:47 PM BST
He'd had one on Pella's previous service game and I think then another 5 or 6 on his own serve.
Report themightymac May 25, 2016 11:49 PM BST
Wish I had bought the bookings on this match. Ten yellows and two reds.
Report guinness2dear May 25, 2016 11:50 PM BST
What ye watching, Soutjh American?
Report guinness2dear May 25, 2016 11:50 PM BST
Felt like 20, Rog.
Report themightymac May 25, 2016 11:53 PM BST

Their all feckin nuts in that part of the world. We don't know were born here..
Report themightymac May 26, 2016 12:31 AM BST
You are spot on. Herzog made some cracking films in South America.
Report themightymac May 26, 2016 12:38 AM BST
Fitzcarraldo and Aguirre the best.
Report guinness2dear May 26, 2016 12:40 AM BST
Yep seen both of them and Nosferatu himself in them..
Report guinness2dear May 26, 2016 12:42 AM BST
I thought Mel Gibson ripped off Herzog in his Apocolypto
Report themightymac May 26, 2016 12:50 AM BST
Yeah, very much possible now you mention it, although tbh it never crossed my mind. Good film though, but not as good as Braveheart, lol.

Herzog and Kinski had a volatile working relationship. Almost murdered each other. Great director and great actor though, imo.
Report guinness2dear May 26, 2016 12:54 AM BST
Peckinpah was the same with his actors. But they still worked with him..

And yes he is.. Heart of Glass and Woyzeck i like as well
Report themightymac May 26, 2016 1:00 AM BST
Cobra Verde another good film. He made some crackers.
Herzog made some brilliant documentaries too.

Sam Peckinpah another brilliant film maker.
Report guinness2dear May 26, 2016 1:02 AM BST
Both mad as hatters mind. Think ye have to be to be successful in that world..
Report themightymac May 26, 2016 1:06 AM BST
What is yer favourite Peckinpah film?
Report themightymac May 26, 2016 1:12 AM BST
Cross of Iron for me.
Report guinness2dear May 26, 2016 1:13 AM BST
Prob the same although The Wild Bunch is a close second..
Report guinness2dear May 26, 2016 1:18 AM BST

Report themightymac May 26, 2016 1:42 AM BST
Goodnight mate. Glad u had a great day. If that last guy had got beat, you would never have slept.
Report themightymac May 26, 2016 1:44 AM BST
.... Wild Bunch was brilliant. He wrote a lot of episodes for some of them classic tv westerns too.
