I wouldn't describe Dulwich Village as a ghetto personally T.L. I'm absolutely gutted B-B, one minute complete euphoria, the next despair. Still, the world keeps spinning and no major drama but it would have been nice if Palace had won but no big deal really, they did well to make the final but the referee did us no favours, c'est la vie.

its funny you should say that s.kenbo. this morning i estimated that only one in three bins on my street were emptied, the rest were stickered. maybe there was a competition amongst the bin men to see how few bins they could actually empty today?

I'd say that was quite high for a B property. I live in a D in Hertfordshire and pay £1450 although they did freeze it for 3/4 years

They make two collections a week round here, which is strange as there aren't many bins to empty

We get one collection a fortnight but (to date) I've never had any issues with them and I've lived here 12.5 years now

We get a waste collection one week, then a recycling collection the next week. You have to recycle otherwise your bins are overflowing.

you should be recycling as a matter of course and not having to do it  because of the above reason . Very poor .

I would install cameras and keep an eye on your bins if i was the big chief.

I recycle because I'm blackmailed into doing so, not because it's for the good of the planet.

Now the bottom half of each bin, is a totally different story.......................

until the Chinese start recycling like a drop in the ocean.
