I've been trying to ram it home that Refined carbs is mugging you every day. I cut out refined carbs last May and feel a lot better having lost four stones. I eat Glass fed butter, Breakfast is four boiled eggs with masses of butter. I eat nuts, almonds and peanuts. I eat Cheese , fish, meat slices. Liver. Seeds. small salads. chips on occasion. My body is used to the Paleo Diet. So much so that I find it difficult to digest refined carbs now. Cannot eat bread. but i can eat pasta? so i think it might actually be the additives in the bread that affects me. (SOY).
I had some stomach cramping which I am almost certain was caused by eating masses of greenery, salad leaves. I think I was getting too much potassium. Potassium can cause cramping? So I dialed that back and stopped the large salads.
Common sense tells you a pop tart is designed to knacker you. No pop tarts on trees. BROWN food as I term it. pastry coloured food. Tell bakeoff to FO.

Agree with a heavy percentage intake of protein, but also try a period of not mixing any carbs with proteins, cut down the salt and hey presto.

Not all mammals eat the same things. We think that because we're humans we should eat a bit of everything. I'm not sure this is right, so I can see why fruit may not be brilliant for us.
What's also clear as day and is in direct opposition to what we're told is that regular exercise does not lead to weight loss. As you exercise regularly, you get fit and more efficient. Therefore you burn less calories not more.

I looked up Dr EriC Berg on youtube by accident after i discovered my left eye had been twitching too much. All down to diet. i was sensitive to drinking fruit juice. especially orange juice. The guy explained about Acidosis, why the western diet is gearing you towards being diabetic. What the body needs to work right. He's ninety percent right in what he says. But don't go crazy on the green stuff, too much of a good thing is a bad thing too. LITTLE AND OFTEN. seems best. Talks about too much protein goes for the kidneys. best to eat coldcuts for small amounts. To activate fat burning hormone. Fish ideal.

sure - sounds like a shill but gives good dietery advice. He tries to sell you vitamins and the like. but you get all the necessary 'rare' vitamins in Sea salt and Food if you know where to look. SO you don't have to buy from him. It's lazy not to look around. (pink salt has over 90 trace minerals that are beneficial) has iodine that prevents cists and goiter.
