Watching this at the moment. I managed to keep track of jt up until the last couple of episodes but now I'm more than a bit lost

They have made it too complicated and Marcella's coat with the furry hood has annoyed me throughout. Apart from that it has been very good.

Not sure why she moved Grace Gibsons body, not sure why she`s having blackouts, not sure what happened with the dead taxi drivers brother, plus many many more...they have a lot of questions to answer in one episode

So why did she move the body, anyone ?

It was all far too intricate for me.

Too many characters adding nothing to the story line, i was most disappointed after seeing anna in the bath in first episode.

Dross.  So many loose ends, or unexplained things.

Why did she move the body, and what happened to the bloke who broke into her house, bopped her on the head and left a nasty cut by her throat with a knife?

I thought so too. How many episodes? Five? Maybe seven?  Could have been done in three.

Indeed Houseofpain, unless it follows Marcella in her new career as a Pole Dancer.

There was an implication that there is.

As the credits rolled, the continuity announcer said: "well, that's the end of the first series of Marcella".

All in all, a too obvious attempt to create an 'obsessed' female detective along the lines of Sarah Lund and that other Scandi freak from 'The Bridge'.

And quite honestly NO-ONE needs a British version of the latter creation.

Seemed like a load of random events and characters most of which made no sense at all. I cant see why anyone who watched the first series is going to waste any more of their time watching any more of this rubbish.
Made you realise how good the Scandinavian stuff and Spiral are.

Series 2 of 'Marcella' started the other evening, and what a load of dross it was. Can't believe I went against my better judgement and watched it. Admittedly on fast-forward pace via the HDD to save a great deal of time.

HOWEVER, there was one fleeting moment of grace which made the entire expedition worthwhile. You see we were allowed a very nice look at Anna F's derriere. The scene occurs after the second advert break, and I recommend it to the House.  This scene alone has almost justified the existence of, and investment in ITV Player.

SHE'S NOT WELL, but very watchable imo.

Anna is one of the best actresses [sorry, actors] on the scene at the moment. cheers.
