Well I was never in favour of it myself, but it has happens, we cannot change that.
As far as the London Mayor goes I assume people voted for Khan because they thought he was the best candidate

Ron - I think Trump is only proposing to ban muslims? So I think your "rest of the people he is supposed to be representing" will be fine. Unless of course they are hispanic. Trump doesn't like them much either but I expect he will be fine with them if they come in form here.
the new mayor has appointed his team and it doesnt look like he's starting the caliphate at city hall after all. four of the five top jobs have gone to women and none of them was wearing a hijab in the group photo. he's also said he wants the night time economy of bars and clubs to prosper so it doesnt look like alcohol is going to be banned.
