gave up bread 3 weeks ago today, now biscuits, both make me feel too sluggish, too much refined wheat, too much refined sugar, 4 or 5 biscuits is the equivalent to the daily recommended allowance for sugar intake, I can eat twice as many working on here without really thinking about it. They offer nothing nutritious to my diet. I'm also after a flatter stomach for summer, not that I'll be walking around in crop topsGrin

Thankfully I've never had a taste for fizzy drinks.

Beginning of next month I will be aiming to completely cut wheat out altogether which will be the hardest thing, I've tried before and it was too hard not just finding alternative foods/snacks but cheaper alternatives too, as well as the addiction of course, but will give it second go.

can't put a price on health and all that

i buy cheap dates(fruit you mugs) from home bargains - sell a bag for 90p. seeds with coconut oil(lots of minerals in them) Purple leaf salads with fish. peanut butter. cheese. etc.

by avoiding carbs and sugar... i'm wittling away the fat. my moobs are firming up, everywhere on me muscle is building up. I've tried for thirty years to lose weight from 12 stone to twenty. Although at one stage I lost five stone in 1995 through total exercise? running every second day. Carbs/sugar where acting as a sponge for all my efforts. I always had a thought in the back of my head - why am i getting such poor results? I just wish I knew this when I was twenty. The western Diet of large pieces of meat and carbs is mildly poisonous. I exercise one day a week in swimming pool(1 hour). I walk twice a week about three miles total. Amino acids from veg are fuelling muscle growth.

I gave up biscuits, chocolate and cakes at the start of the year. I have lost over a stone and gone down from 38 waist to a comfy 36. I have since cut down on bread, chips and crisps but it is harder and after the initial loss in weight it seems to have stagnated but I feel a lot more lively.
