Can anyone recommend a healthier alternative as I can't have a hot drink without dunking a biscuit, 1 soon becomes 7 or 8 which is about the daily recommended sugar intake alone, not good.

Rye crispbread (you can get cheap from LIDL) with a little light cream or cottage cheese. OR MOZARELLA!!!!!
I'm sure that's pretty healthy.

bunch of grapes.you will feel great afterwords and discover within 4 hours you are not tired of fatigued anymore

Agree, there are plenty of unsweetened alternatives. A particular favourite of mine is Doriano crackers. These come wrapped in individual portion size so the rest stay fresh in the opened pack and also makes it easier to resist the temptation to eat more than you should.

Oatcakes are a relatively healthy kind of biscuit.
