and 23% support the introduction of Sharia law in Britain.

Lots of crap on the radio today about our need to be understanding and sympathetic to their beliefs.

If I went to a Muslim country and protested about Sharia law, female genital mutilation, stoning people in the streets, etc, would I be right in thinking they would be keen to take my views into account and put in place integration plans to help me feel more welcome?

If gays want equality let them have it.

I'm attracted to women but am not allowed to change next to them!

Why should gays be allowed to change or use the bogs of those they fancy?

Illogical captain.

Okay Injera

I'm happy with things as they are. I don't want to change with women (even though I'm attracted to them). I'm secure enough that when I go to the gym, play rugby / football, go swimming etc and have to get naked in front of my fellow pen1s support units, that any gay bloke that's in there won't proposition me. This is mostly on the basis I'm an ugly cnt but also that I give them credit for the fact they are probably there to get changed for the match / workout / swim etc and their minds are on that, rather than my cute little botty.

I don't want my taxes or gym subscriptions to be hiked in order to build separate changing rooms for homosexuals and my liberal (in the sense of 'freedom loving') sensibilities are offended by my having to provide data to an as yet unknown entity (a new government department?) to initiate this sexual apartheid you want to introduce. Care to price up the cost of that?

....and I'm the illogical one here????
Report Injera April 13, 2016 6:18 PM BST
Point number one my friend. You're not ugly. Beauty is in the eye of the etc..Happy

Secondly, it's not my problem that the cost of seperate facilities would be prohibitive.

That's a consequence of the gay advance.

Equality carries with it responsibilities and challenges.

I don't want my kids changing with gays who would be happy to see them undress. Or am I an illogical father? Gay men have notoriously been associated with mens' toilets for obvious reasons....

Most mosques in Britain are under the control of the Deobandis, an ultra conservative branch of Islam which the Taliban amongst other subsribe to.

"The Deobandi interpretation holds that a Muslim's first loyalty is to his religion and only then to the country of which he is a citizen or a resident; secondly, that Muslims recognise only the religious frontiers of their Ummah and not the national frontiers; thirdly, that they have a sacred right and obligation to go to any country to wage jihad to protect the Muslims of that country."

Why did we not have referendum on gay marriage, people may well have voted for it, so why was it just forced on us, that is hardly democraticSad
Report rogerthebutler April 14, 2016 3:25 PM BST
My guess is that such a referendum would have cost a fortune, been met with complete indifferent by 80% of the population and set a precedent for loads of other people to vent their spleen and demand referendums (referenda?) for every decision we elect our politicians to make, in the name of furthering democracy.
Report wildmanfromborneo April 14, 2016 3:49 PM BST
There is precedent here.
We had one in Ireland and it was carried with a fair majority on a huge turnout.

One thing that does grate is the gay lobby are still demanding, still lobbying.
They have now moved to transgender and intersex, its never ending.
Report DStyle April 14, 2016 3:51 PM BST
a referendum would have resulted in gay marriage being legalised. public opinion was massively behind it in the UK. So i'd say given that there's plenty of stuff passed by governments which goes against public opinion, this was certainly one of the more democratic pieces of legislation.

the only valid complaint anyone can have against gay marriage is that it alters the meaning of the union they have with their partner and that they object to this. I have considered that they should probably campaign for a new type of civil union called **** & Fanny super-hetero union, or something a bit more snappy if they choose which should only be available for heterosexual couples; much in the same way that civil unions are only available to homosexual couples.

I recently went to Las Vegas for the first time, and on my last day, decided to chill out at the spa for a bit.
I’d never been to a spa before, so the guy in charge gave me some simple instructions, ending with “Clothing is optional”. I was a bit surprised, and decided to put my swimming trunks on as I’d planned.

I went into the Jacuzzi, and there was a naked bloke lounging around in it. Blimey, I thought, it looks like clothing really is optional here. I wondered whether I should follow suit. Then an older naked bloke walked in and it was settled. No fecking way was I going to be the only one with trunks on, so off they came.

It was a bit weird just sitting around starkers not saying anything, but I didn’t know what the etiquette was in this sort of situation. Is it weirder to talk to a naked guy or just sit around in silence with a naked guy? But on the way back from the steam room, I missed a step in the Jacuzzi because of all the bubbles, and fell over in it. Then I had to say something because it was too awkward to stay silent.

It was fine having a conversation, so I did the same with the older bloke in the sauna when the first guy left. He was Canadian, he’d rented a Harley Davidson the day before and ridden to the Grand Canyon, he…

…was looking at my knob.

No. It must have been my imagination, I thought, so I carried on talking to him. But after a while, I noticed his right arm was sort of moving rhythmically, just like he was playing with his old chap. The problem, was, I couldn’t be sure without looking at his knob, which I thought could really exacerbate matters. After a while, though, he was definitely looking at my knob again, which gave me the chance to look at his knob and yes, he was indeed playing with it. It wasn’t, um, in an engorged state, but he was clearly going beyond the bounds of normal social behaviour. Even if it was my first time in a spa, I knew that.

So I decided I’d had enough of the sauna and went back into the Jacuzzi, but he followed me in and sat rather close to me, still fiddling about with his old fellow and looking me up and down.

Unfortunately for my anecdote, that’s where the story fizzles out, but the point is that the whole way through, I was finding the whole situation absolutely hilarious, being propositioned by a big old moustachioed gáy Canadian biker. And he was actually touching himself and staring at me.

And some of you want separate changing rooms just because a gáy bloke might look at you! Do you think in a moment of madness you’re going to cave in and need to buy a cushion on the way home or something?

Yes Dstyle but this not replace reproductive sex in these animals does it, otherwise the species would be extinct.

It has a different function, as it does in humans...therefore it is reasonable we do not call it marriage, that is for heterosexuals

All of Scotland’s major Muslim groups declined to attend the launch of a campaign against violence and discrimination directed towards the Ahmadi sect, as well as the Paris and Brussels terror attacks.
Representatives of the local Sikh and Jewish communities, and the Church of Scotland’s inter-faith group were all present, alongside local politicians, representatives of Police Scotland and Glasgow’s lord provost.

ET, what are the 'strangest priorities' that women have?

If I may be so bold; the desire of young ladies to attract a hairy arsed, sweaty, beer-gutted, bad-breathed, pig-headed, violent, misogynistic, feral, fetid, vapid and vacuous male youth has often puzzled me.

It puzzles me as well Clouseau, but that is because I am not gay

To women it makes a lot of sense because most of them marry one......it is called heterosexual sex
