I would have thought the department of the environment would be responsible, if any, but no, imo, local councils.

ASturgeon made this statement last Wednesday on her meeting with a Chinese consortium:

"We signed a memorandum of understanding to explore options for investment.
If we get to the stage where there are any proposals for investment, then due diligence will be done at this stage.
That's how these things are normally done.
There are actual no proposals on the table at this stage, and if that changes then those proposals will go through the normal process.

The statement was in response to questions of why no statement had been made by the Scottish Government and also in response to suggestions that Norway had knocked back one of the parties involved as untrustworthy.

Following on from that one of the signatories involved said that projects have been identified and that NS was keen for some to happen this year.
It was also disclosed that talks have been ongoing for almost a year.
Why the secrecy and why are both sides adrift on what was agreed?

So why don't we use the FOI act and get to the truth?
Well we can't because the government agency have put a temporary stop on releasing info until after the elections.
Welcome to Scotland run by and for the SNP

Meanwhile 17 of her schools are falling down and closed.

the schools were built under labour's PPI (probably with scottish labour's traditional brown envelopes changing hands), and managed by the PPI consortium who are paid by Edinburgh Council.  So utterly fack all to do with Sturgeon.

I repeat - the schools were built and are maintained through a Labour PPI arrangement.  Their condition has nothing at all to do with Sturgeon.

Well there we have it. 17 schools closed, over 7,000 kids affected and nothing to do with the person who runs the country who is on holiday and earns over £100k per year.

The schools are run by the Labour approved PPI consortium and paid for by Edinburgh City Council.  Nothing at all to do with Sturgeon.

The schools were built and are maintained by a Labour approved PPI consortium.  Edinburgh City Council pays that consortium.  Edinburgh City Council is a local government body and has the responsibility for running schools. Sturgeon is MSP and first minister of the Scottish Parliament and not an Edinburgh councillor.
