The yokels say they will chain themselves to the rock in the middle of the road if the council tries to remove it following a crash into it.

They say it appeared after a fight with the devil where the people cut the devil's foot off.
They also say it rolls down the road sometimes.

However, Conservative councillor Mark Shaw has now told the BBC that "to move it, or even discuss moving it... would be absolute madness".

He described it as the "heart and soul" of Soulbury".

There does not seem to be an obvious solution to this stone in the road problem. However I'm sure they can work something out in a roundabout way.

Stonehenge is cultural due to it being man made.
This is just as much a rock of the earth as the earth its joined to that was removed to make the road.

Just parochial codswallop

You could argue everything is 11,000 years old and more.
