Report Eeternaloptimist • March 28, 2016 9:22 PM BST
I respect your right to see Trump in whatever way you want Mikael but he is the one politician there or here who is pinpointing a problem and outlining policies to address the problem. Both Mexicans and Muslims have significant minorities within them who present a problem. Which isn't the same as saying they are all a problem. Just that on balance the problem the minority does represent is arguably significant enough to wish to stem the flow of these people.

As for America being a cesspit that is the kind of language very much prevalent on the left who have never forgiven America for being the great country it became. I'm not sure if all of them would rather the Soviets prevailed but I'm sure many of them do. It isn't a cesspit. The areas which are cesspits tend to be those dominated by uneducated and violent Hispanics and Blacks. Which returns us to the issue. Is immigration in itself enriching or is it immigration from certain groups which is enriching and immigration from others which is a net detriment to a country?

assessing likely risk to all crime is the only stat that would be relevant,so include knife crime, rape ,serious assaults ect ect ect then your talking .

http://www.lancaster.ac.uk/news/articles/2016/new-analysis-method-makes-increasing-rate-of-violent-crime-visible/

They found the rate of domestic violence has been increasing since 2009. The rate of violence against women has also been increasing since 2009. But violent crime against men is still decreasing.

The rate of violent crime overall has started to increase since 2009, driven by the changes in domestic violent crime and in violent crime against women.

These findings contradict the official view that violent crime in England and Wales is continuing to fall. This increase is concentrated among ‘high frequency’ victims - those who experience multiple attacks.

The research finds that domestic violent crime and violent crime against women have been increasing since 2009.  Before this, these forms of violent crime had been falling since the mid-1990s. The change point, from decrease to increase, coincides with the start of the economic crisis.

From at least Blair onwards if not before crime stats became politicised with police forces often seemingly more interested in managing and massaging the figures than solving crime and taking the scum off the streets. You can only go off much longer time frames as I've suggested and these are clear and incontrovertible. At the time we started to become "enriched" in the 60's beginning with Jamaican Yardies etc that is when our problems really began and this is shown in the crime stats.

I think Trump what may have meant is that Europe is not safe from Muslim Terrorism...and he is damn right.

Although it is Europe's support of the United States in their Middle East adventures which has caused this.

If our leaders had any guts or brains we would have bowed out of that one...but sadly they did not.

Whether Trump thinks the free world has become weak or not, solving this problem is going to take some thought not just muscle

because this a war against Terrorism and with our Muslims we are vulnerable.

The priority at the moment is to defeat ISIS in the Middle East, they are weakening. Then get Assad and the Rebels together in Syria to work out

a solution, whatever it takes, to end the civil war in Syria. That means NO MORE REFUGEES in Europe whom ISIS can infiltrate.

We are living in a world which is far too extreme. This is not just Muslims but the West as well, although we don't see this ourselves

except me of course.

Scratch the surface of any left-winger and you'll find someone seething with anger over injustice.
Yet when they get the chance to change things all they ever achieve is to increase the injustice in the system.
As seen with the last Labour administration where they managed to suppress wages and create a shortage of housing, at the same time as overloading the public services and making them unaffordable.
Not to mention excessive spending on welfare which they knew could not be maintained. Creating a mess for someone else to clean up.

As for trusting the left to look after the nation's security, now you have to be joking, as can be seen from this thread.
Instead of addressing the disaster area that is now the European zone, they choose to examine the figures for murder in America.
As if we should gain some comfort from the figures as we witness Europe in a perpetual state of terror alert.
The left are more concerned with looking after the welfare of the young bucks coming from Syria and elsewhere, than protecting Europe's citizens from them.

What has changed in Europe is the all encompassing threat from the common enemy Daesh or other Jihadist splinter groups.

Europe has seen terrorist attacks consistently throughout the decades, the trend changed from the early 90's as they petered out on a consistent level, pehaps due to heightening of security.

What has changed is that for every terrorist attack which is reported in the media in ANY country within Western Europe, the automatic reaction is to believe it be the same perpetrator, Daesh.

Brzezinski: What is most important to the history of the world? The Taliban or the collapse of the Soviet empire? Some stirred-up Moslems or the liberation of Central Europe and the end of the cold war?

3 years later came 9.11.

Trump may have the greatest insight into the World Situation - for someone who wants to build walls and is appealing to insular American voting groups, my bet is he  hasn't - but history suggests right-wing gung-ho American political leaders don't have the best track record when it comes to exporting peace and safety.

However, Bush Jnr finishing what 'mah Daddy' stared in the early 90's followed by the historical madness of attempting to impose any kind of external political system on the tribes of Afghanistan meant it was hardly Shangri-La.

i did not disappear, you are a liar. you stitched yourself up with a broadbrush statement that didnt stand up to the slightest examination which is why you now engage in projection. you started a second thread that helped prove my point did you not?  i educated you about the complexity of devaluation and you then went into meltdown when i questioned your character. you now pathetically try to present this as me folding in two and running away which is a lie.

'If you act like a boil on my ar5e expect to get squeezed' is rather strange language again eo but entirely fitting for someone who sees himself as an oracle but is actually an orifice Laugh.

My post has been removed.

The one where I wrote that if people don't like Christians and Christian values then they shouldn't come here.

Lol, marvellous stuff.

One thing is for sure, they can't stand the truth being thrown back at then when they scoff at our culture.

^^Oh, hang on wrong thread.

Nevertheless the same holds good on this one apart from the removed bit.

Can't even remember which thread he's talking bollocks on.

So Trump thinks Europe is unsafe...as opposed to where?  Africa, Asia?

Americans have a reputation for being frightend to travel.  Remember how tourism would drop after an IRA bomb.

Best stay home ...oh and be sure to carry your gun...just to be safe.

Fancy me leaving an open goal for a mentally challenged low life ignoramus like the TheFilth.

And a one-line hit and run merchant at that, who struggles to compile a sentence let alone one capable of taking part in a proper debate.
Report Dr Crippen • March 29, 2016 6:11 PM BST
Oh look at that someone must have logged into his account.

Surely TheFilth didn't write that lot on his own despite it being such a mess.

Best stay home ...oh and be sure to carry your gun...just to be safe.

TheFilth,
Why would one need to carry a gun in one's own home against terrorists you utter dunce?

Nope Blaggard. You disappeared and you know it. Play to your imaginary gallery all you like. What's more I didn't go in to meltdown when you questioned my character. I smacked you down. It's been done by far more eloquent people than yourself and they too came up short. So keep puffing yourself up. It's most entertaining and the bigger you get the bigger the bust when I stick a pin in you.
Report Eeternaloptimist • March 29, 2016 7:52 PM BST
Anyway enough of you. I don't trust any man who can't laugh at himself. So let me do it for you.

Dr Crippen reduces every argument to right or left...the right are of course always right.the left are always wrong

This does not reflect reality

The reason Obama did not attack Assad was because Russia said they would support him. Do you think war with Russia

would help us, I don't.

Sometimes the baastard's we know to be baastard's are in the top jobs in these countries because they are baastards. I don't see many countries emerging enhanced from the Arab Spring.

eo i did not disappear, ive still been on betfair but im not here every day. you are only saying that i disappeared now, why havent you mentioned it on any of the other threads that you and i have been on (sometimes at the same time)since that thread fell away?

if i'm  not here for a day, a few days, or a week that doesnt mean i've run away it means i have other things to do like earn a living or go out and enjoy myself.

you made a broadbrush statement about devaluation which i corrected. we argued because you said you accepted what i said but then repeated your original comments on a thread started by united biscuits, you were trolling him imo and thats what i didnt like.

eo i am laughing at myself for ending up spending so much time arguing with you. i dont believe in the real world you are at all contemptuous as you are on here, this though makes me find your attitude on here even more perplexing.
