"The European Championship games are live on free-to-air ITV and BBC Television."

I think that's the first time I've heard a rival broadcaster mentioned in that context.

Rained off EO. Always something to waste the night. Wink

Well done England. Vardy`s goal was class. If Messi or Ronaldo had scored it, they would be banging on about it for years. Pleased for Vardy, non league football to where he is now is a meteoric rise. He should be starting.

Oh that Vardy goal. As mentioned, had Messi done that people would have passed out with excitement. Stunning stuff. Kane's was decent too.

The thought of what tuned up teams will do to us at the Euros though when our central defence is in the hands of those clueless cloggers Smalling and Cahill is frightening.

I saw for the first time a few weeks ago on the BBC website them saying a certain event would be shown live on other channels, perhaps they have made an agreement to stop treating customers with contempt across the board?

How lame it has always been for the BBC to give the news about the build up of a sporting event and to only say 'you can listen to it on BBC radio', when it's available on itv or others to watch.

They will now look to build on that momentum when the Netherlands visit Wembley on Tuesday night, with three further friendlies to follow prior to their opener against Russia on June 11.

Saturday night's win prompted a surge of support for England to go on and win the Euros, prompting bookies to cut them from 11/1 to 9/1 to win a first major tournament since the 1966 World Cup.

The result has also seen Germany lose favouritism in France, drifting from 100/30 to 7/2, with the host nation now heading the betting at the former price.
