I don't drive or take holidays. So my carbon foot print is low. but if I was to get a better job out of town. It would mean longer journeys on bus or I might buy a car. With the extra cash, i might buy more stuff. Maybe a new freezer, PC and cooker. Eat out more. take holidays overseas.
So my economic growth increases my carbon foot print.
So when they are saying growth is down isn't that good news.
Shouldn't the government be applauding high unemployment figures. Shouldn't travel by plane for holidays be rationed to once every five years?

I personally am a climate skeptic. I'm more interested in the sun's output. Lot's more aurora stories in the news in the last few years? why is that?
