So there I was yesterday in Harvey Nicks treating myself to a decent cologne to drive Mrs Mustang wild and I came across Kouros. WTF, hadn't seen this since the eighties and I didn't know this still existed. Even more surprising was its price at £61 a pop.

Strange you should say that. When I was a spotty teenager shuttling back and forth to Crete with my mates on holiday Kouros was the object of my desire. At 48, I am now considering treating myself again.

Brut was good
Then there was yarldleys gold, old spice and musk that knocked em bandy.
Paco rabanne also.

There were some good uns from the 70s and 80s for blokes but the cat p1ss that women wore would make you wretch.

I wore Kouros back in the day - I now possess Joop & DKNY - My philosophy is, if a woman buys it for you it is ok
Report dustybin • March 20, 2016 12:37 PM GMT
Joop smells like melted ice lollies swilling around in the bottom of a tarts handbag

Doesn't matter what you use as long as you have a good rub down with "Wright's Coal Tar Soap" first!
Report annie. • March 20, 2016 6:03 PM GMT
I also loved kouros and brut and I also bought it for myself.

You have got the right idea, Aspro.  If a woman likes it, buy it.  But not too much on you or your male smell gets overwhelmed!

Yes indeed, Kouros was the cologne of the 80's. The ball and chain bought me a bottle of Vercase Eau Fraiche last month as she likes it.
