Visiting my daughter this week who lives in Exeter decided yesterday to take my two grandchildren to an amusement park nearby. My son in law has a season ticket for the park and even although it is not transferable in my infinite wisdom decided to use it to gain admission a few quid.
Fast forward to the entrance of Creeley amusement park.Season ticket holders were obliged to swipe their card under a sensor at which point a picture of the holder flashes up on a large screen immediately above the entrance gate.
With sunglasses and a woolly hat pulled tight over my head i furtively swiped the season ticket only for my 4 yr old Granddaughter to look up at the screen and scream at the top of her voice"LOOK GRANDAD THERE'S A PICTURE OF DADDY".
The security guy approached me and asked if was MY picture on the screen above.Embarrassingly i had to admit it wasn't and i was sent on my way out of the park to purchase a ticket.
