My brother had/has one, but I cant really tell you what it is because it develops.
He had it all his life.
I had em too occasionally through my childhood. I remember a mate at school had one, he used to violently nod his head, was great fun to all the kids but I knew his pain cos years before I used to shake me head.

I suppose he could have nodded an I could have shook yes/no like.

I still feel the urg now and then and just do it.
ive had loads of drugs, too many infact dont think that ever helped.
But I just wonder how many others had it or is it just us being Phucked up?

In fact it reminded me of a funny story.
I went to the doctor a few years ago, and when I was young I tried to hide a twitch but now I couldnt careless.
I remember just doing some odd twitchy thing and it set the doc off.
I swear it was like a trigger. He started twitching which sort of made me want to twitch.
The best bit was it was a trainee junior doc and he had a camera setup and hed asked if he could film
Unfortunately I said no
If I had it would have been on youtube

I did when I was a nipper.  I used to do that violent head jerking thing for no reason whatsoever.  The more I concentrated on not doing it, the more I would!

Eventually stopped doing it and then progressed to pulling funny faces by stretching my mouth away from my nose whilst pulling my lips back over my teeth.

Funny old times they were Laugh

Its odd, I have odd manerisms that I cant difinitively say whether they are me doing them out of annoyance or a twitch.

People may see that as odd, but Ive seen quite a few who had the same issue and none have been the simple types.

Both myself and brother are graduates (my brother first at Cambridge) and were retired by 30 each, so we aint daft.

just mental.

There is a belief that you are only 1/10 of the mass of your body.
That is to say the mass of the cells that you believe to be 'you' is actually more parasite than you.

Theres a parasite in cats that make their owners more prone to suicide than those that dont own cats.
Either making them kill themselves or slowing their responsiveness down enough to get them killed (in accidents)

This has been proven by big data,

Makes you wonder.
Personally I couldnt give a fook, if it helps me **** others off then we are the same.

I'll go with the JUST MENTAL reason.

I've got a friend who had a tick under his eye.

When it started, he'd simply start breathing very deeply until it stopped, which didn't take long.

He said it worked every time.
