He'll fit in with the BBC's agenda, he's another left-winger like Evan Davis. He's got too many strong personal opinions which he's not afraid to air, to front a show like Newsnight.
He lays into Nigel Farage ever chance he gets on his radio show, and everyone else he sees as right-wing.
Not the LBC bloke?I always turn the radio off when he comes on. He'll fit in with the BBC's agenda, he's another left-winger like Evan Davis. He's got too many strong personal opinions which he's not afraid to air, to front a show like Newsnight. He la
Yes, he can be a bit annoying.....thinks he's always right, likes to interrupt 10 secs in to someone replying to his question....a tactic which is meant to disrupt the replier, tried it on african UN panel member(Assange related) but as he was in New York there was a 2 sec delay so did not work well.
Also had a go at Kate Hoey as she is a Vote Leave Europe Campaign leader but she stood her ground.

The most obnoxious self opinionated radio presenter on the air waves...as crip points out a real hater of UKIP and everything they stand for.Must have been top of the BBC's hit list to present..you could not wish to listen to a more left wing biased communicator .

Can't agree more with comments above, I switched on for 1 minute, saw it was him, listened as he arrogantly interupted someone before they'd even started to answer questions, and switched over again as 1 miute was all I could take. He is so conceited and up himself, that tone of voice he uses as a patronises people (that are normally smarter than him), I'm susprised nobody has lamped the smug ignorant tw*t.

Thankfully the BBC gave Nick Robinson the job on the Today programme after Evan Davis left.
I don't think I would have listened to it again if O'Brien had got it.

Yes he was more interested in putting the questions than letting her answer. He interrupted her at one point and they were both talking at the same time for quite a spell.
You can't get worse interviewing than that when you can't hear what either of them are saying.
He must have been told to allow her to speak because he backed off after that and she said her piece.
''Thank you Mr O'Brien your cheque will be in the post - Err, don't call us we'll call you.''
