Mark Labbett chasing down 25 got within two then had a brain freeze. The contestant old Joyce needed the money to visit her son in Australia and was overwhelmed to take a third of the 42k..superb...brought tears to my eyes. What a great quiz programme.

It was possibly the best game ever. Do you think he stumled over the question on purpose? Seemed to have a soft spot for choice. She couldn't stop saying thank you but should have been thanking the guy who bagged 75% of the points.

Brilliant show tonight for sure.

I did an audition in January 2014 and was told I had passed. You have to give them any dates you may be on holiday. They have contacted me in January 2015 and just recently for the same information.

If I do get on I'll let you all know here!

That's the really big question about the show and so easy to do. I won't say it's a con but I have my doubts.

missed the first bit. Why was the Chaser drooling over player one? Was she some big cheese in the quiz world?

As well as having good knowledge you need to be fast and the young Irish lad was deadly quick.

I think Crab, my dog, be the sourest-natured dog that
lives: my mother weeping, my father wailing, my
sister crying, our maid howling, our cat wringing
her hands, and all our house in a great perplexity,
yet did not this cruel-hearted cur shed one tear. He
is a stone, a very pebble stone, and has no more pity
in him than a dog.
