You're also missing out that the areas they are coming from are not a static population, like ours generally are. They have huge families there, we could keep taking large numbers every year and there would still be the same primary populations that wants to come here, and are living in the troubles that their own areas of the world and own peoples impose on them. Taking them to our own detriment is absolutely not a long term solution, it's madness and the lefties who can't count or think things through need a reality check.

That’s because they are only interested in maintaining the cycle of poverty and desperation. It’s no use them to have a world where all countries can feed and adequately support their own people. No money to made from other peoples misery, no fame or prestige helping the impoverished and needy, no chance to climb upon their high horse and chastise the rest of us for not allowing the lucky few to enter Europe. No my friend that’s no use at all.

I agree, excellent OP. The countries affected will need their 20 somethings far more
Than Europe will, when IS are finally defeated. That's why the EU should buy a Greek island, and turn it into a long term holding station. Ok, it's unfair on the islands inhabitants, but they could be adequately compensated, rehoused on a similar island, and it would be a much needed economic boost to Greece. And it would give Europe a chance to properly manage the problem rather than the current "rabbit in headlights" mish mash. Or I could be talking utter boll0x. |

That will not stop another refugee crisis from occurring, they start when a dictator or religious nut decides to wage war on the people of his own country. What these aggressors want more than anything else is for people to flee to the West, allowing them complete control of their country and to plant a time bomb under the civilised world. |
