Best advice I can give, which always works for me, is to kook for something else.

You should have learned by now. Don't mess about looking here and there and thinking where they are likely to be...just think what is the least likely location for them. That is where they are.
You always find them in the last place you look.

Now replanned their usage, 2 in each sky remote, 2 in the thermostat. Alternate the other 2 between the xbox and wii as and when !!

All this to do because I have bought a video sender and new sky remote for the bedroom. Stressful times chaps.

Sometimes the batteries in rechargeable items like a wireless home phone etc are standard rechargeables in a sealed pack. So if you've something that doesn't hold a charge you are considering throwing out, open it up and have a look, you might be able to replace them yourselves (just note how the pack is wired).
