Are the media not being incredibly stupid (as usual) making this such a big thing BEFORE they are repainted?
Now, what was probably a rumour known by a few people who probably weren't sure about it in Middlesburgh, is now known by pretty much everyone in the country. Not only that, people may look at a red door and be in doubt who lives there as red doors happen anyway, if it's now repainted in the next couple of weeks, it's going to verify to any nutcase an asylum seeker lives there.
The luvviess at the BBC really haven't thought through how their overblown reporting of this is likely to adversely affect the very people they are trying to "protect". Anyone who gave a s**t has just been given a massive heads up to identifying these people. Thanks UK media, sharp as a pin.

So, let me get this right.
Allah only knows how many Asylum Seekers have travelled half-way across the world to Britain, rather than going to any one of umpteen 'safe' countries between here and the land of their origins.
Why do they go to Britain? Well, for one thing they seem to get a free house, in the fine town of Middlesbrough. The house might have a red front door, or it might not. No-one complained about it for a long time, until media luvvies took offence on behalf of people behind red doors.
What exactly does the British taxpayer that funded all of this, less still ask for it, get out of the deal?

My mate's a paediatrician and has a red door. Bricking it.
There was some clown on the Jeremy Vine show yesterday (Feltz was sitting in) who seemed to think that the most pertinent part of this whole issue was that the landlord was worth £175m. Must've referred to it six times, was like a stuck record. Seething jealousy.

This is the most extraordinary story of the year so far. Individuals are being targeted for racial abuse and damaged to their property (both illegal in this country as far as I'm aware), and the media are laying the blame at the government and the people who installed the front doors ffs.
Surely they should be asking why the locals are upset enough in the first place to visibly displaying their outrage, and why the police are doing nothing to catch them.
It's like the boss of B&Q being under investigation from the police and media for selling a hammer to Peter Sutcliffe.

did it ever cross anybodys mind that the Painters bought the Red Paint in Bulk, cheap, and Middlesborough F.C. play in a RED football strip
Lots of people in Boro and the surrounding area have red front doors.

A non-story, dressed up as a 'story', and not subjected to any common sense or rational analysis by our media.
story probably put about pvc door comapny who,ll suddenly visit the area,immigrants get theres changed and anyone else who,s not an immigrant with a red door will want to change it,good little buisness weeze,off to sunderland next month no a few new arrivals with green doors,
could they not of painted the doors the colour they wanted themselves? or would that be having to do something for themselves?
