Locally a working british family can't get housed, yet unemployed immigrant somalis in london get given million pound house

More of these refugees will get papers in europe and then be able to legitimately move here.

But millions of eu invaders get housing too - so the two immigration groups just put more pressure on the housing stock but our locals can't get a look in  - why is that

that is what sums it up for me - let us get out of the sorry corrupt mess

The people who supposedly 'steer' this country are ill.

I have come to conclusion that there is a psychological illness throughout the country.
It is geared up to be offended.
It is as if a virus has been injected into the brain and anything British and anything anti euro is rejected automatically by the body into various racist, xenophobic, fruitcake compartments and thoroughly dismissed having no merit whatsover.

This is pompous nonsense. Read it carefully. It is pure assertion. There is no logic, no evidence and no argument. They are simply saying "We are more important than you and therefore know better. Just do as we say." The arrogance is astonishing.

There is only one thing we will have to do immediately on Brexit, and that is to replace all the payments UK institutions currently receive from Brussels with payments from Westminster. That is very easily done out of the savings we will be making. Otherwise NOTHING WILL CHANGE. The statute book will be unaffected. Surely that's not too difficult to visualise?

Take trade for example. Without any agreement or unilateral action by Brussels, trade will simply continue on a tariff-free basis in accordance with WTO rules. In the extremely unlikely event that Brussels did raise tariffs against us, and there are limits under those WTO rules - 10% in the case of cars and agricultural products and very much lower for anything else - we would do the same in equal measure. But a return to tariff based trade would actually be advantageous to the UK and detrimental to the EU because of the massive goods trade deficit we have with them - £89bn last year. More jobs would be created within the UK from import substitution than would be lost from exports. Further the import tariffs would help pay for public services and reduce our fiscal deficit. So we can just walk away from such negotiations if we so wish.

I am not saying we should not conclude a new tariff-free agreement with the EU, but that we do not have to. What I do say that we should NOT do is commit to never raising tariffs in the future. Suppose the EU were to initiate some hostile action against us after we leave, limitations on the City of London for example as they are itching to do, we would need the means to retaliate. Provided we retain the right to impose trade tariffs we have them by the short and curlies. The slightest step out of line and, TWEAK, slap on some tariffs against German cars or French wine and they will snap back into line in very quick order.

If we stay IN there is one fundamental question with regard to uncontrolled immigration.
If about 300,000 come to live here each year where are they going to live? Housing is a commodity with a very inelastic supply. The same arguament applies to the other amenities and services such as roads, NHS, crime control, schools etc.but just to keep it simple.
WHERE ARE THEY ALL GOING TO LIVE?
Throw into the equation the fact that many of the immigrants are catholics and muslims who tend to have larger families and we seem to be building up a huge problem for the not too distant future with simply being unable to house the population.
And then there's Turkey waiting in the wings to join the EU........................

There is a poll on The Express website of around 100,000 people apparently and 89% have voted to leave, 3% are undecided and 8% want to remain. http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/647784/Cameron-deal-EU-referendum-vote-European-Union

Those numbers seem crazy but even if there is an element of truth in that, the current odds are totally wrong.

They asked two, yes TWO people!
I reckon they didn't want to show how many would vote to leave?

The EU are already doing deals with Turkey over the Migrants crisis, who knows what promises they will make to limit the numbers ooming through Turkey. The EU is done for anyway how many of the existing countries won't accept their quota of Syrian Refugees, but still want to be able to work where they like. Poland have had marches, Hungary have closed its borders and the Migrants don't even want to go there. The Migrants want Germany, UK, or Sweden they are not really interested in the other countries.
Most of the EU countries want their citizens to be able to work where they want, but don't want any other part of what it means to be in the EU.
A lot of the poorer countries rely on the money being sent home to families by people working away to keep them afloat. Money earned in Western Europe but spent in Eastern Europe, it helps their economy but not ours.

Also if as an island the UK can cope with say 100k of immigration ( I don't know the actual figure but this is what I will use )what happens to the figures that the UK get from other areas some of which are historical.
If for example the UK get 95k from the EU does that mean they are limited to 5k from say, India, Pakistan, Africa, West Indies and the rest of the world. We can not stop immigration from the EU if we get 120k does that mean we can't take any more, no matter where they come from. Next year we can only take 80k, anyone from outside the EU will have to wait until we take an average of less than 100K over a 5years before they can come to the UK.
What happens to people marrying spouses from outside the UK will they be allowed to come, as this will add to the figures or will this be taken off what is allowed in from the EU.
I read somewhere that if the same percentage of the Polish population that came to the UK was applied to Turkey then 2.5 million Turks would come to the UK. I know a lot of Turks will go to Germany but some will come to the UK.

If any managers within any corporate company were to be found guilty of offering bribes and incentives to win an order they could be suspended or jailed. Why on earth isnt the general pubic waking up to the stench of corruption from Cameron and the civil service that pervades this refendum ? Offering peerages as a bribe and holding back any information from the public because it may influence a No vote is treasonable when we are considering national sovereignty.

Britain is faced with more than economic issues, and for longer than ten years.
Islam already has a blueprint as to how to deal with any host culture, jahiliyya. Simple demographics will do the rest, and in 200 years, whatever it was that this country strove to be will be gone. Shakespeare Dickens Donne Marvell, Thackeray, little will survive. School curricula will change and to get on, the pushy parent will be trying to get their kids to the best madrasah. The irony is that simple demographics and, ironically, democracy, with a splash of feminism will achieve this, meaning that so much bloodshed especially in the middle east was wholly unnecessary. Even more ironically, it will have come about because of one of the stupidest and most nakedly greedy foreign policies ever seen, where America threw in its lot with proselytising Wahhabi monarchs and emirs, and deliberately destroyed the beginnings of secularism and democracy in the middle east that earlier western technological and civilisational success had encouraged. Short termism will the rest, and the determination of our ruling classes at all costs to encourage docility. People like Blair Bush, Cameron and Mama Merkel consider themselves the Elect. In 200 years, somewhere in Africa, where Christian culture might still survive, they will be considered the Idiots. The biggest Idiots of all time. Because Islam, unlike Judaism, which considers itself the chosen Race, considers itself the Chosen Religion, and tolerates no equality between religions, as others do. So, if Englishness or Britishness is to have half a chance of surviving, it must enact laws that outlaw basic elements of Muslim culture, right now, such as FGM, multiple wives, honour killings. And control of its borders.
The battlefield isn't Afghanistan or Damascus, it's in Rotherham, Dewsbury and East London. Or in a couple of hundred years, people will be wistfully quoting Gandhi who when asked what he thought of Western civilisation replied that he thought it would be a good idea.

Turkey has made a series of steep last minute demands ahead of today’s talks with the European Union (EU).

The Turkish delegation demanded an increase on the €3 billion in aid previously promised by Brussels, faster access to Schengen visas for Turkey’s 75 million citizens, and accelerated progress in its EU membership bid.

They insist that Europe should pay for the all of the municipal infrastructure costs, health, education and material support required by the Syrian refugees who remain in Turkey.

The figure demanded is an additional €20 billion, according to a source quoted by Reuters, who allege that the Turkish Prime Minister made the demand to German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Dutch PM Mark Rutte last night.

Interviewed by the Evening Standard he said he recognises deep “uncertainties” about where a Remain vote may lead. Warning that the European Commission has plans for further political integration, including a European Army, he said “the EU will change a lot in five to 10 years — you can’t be certain what staying in will look like.”
Mr. Kamall also predicted that Britain will come under great pressure to surrender its independent currency once all 27 other countries have signed up to the euro.

agree.
we made a right mess because we allowed the housing problem to raise rents to the point where no one could afford to live if they werent working.

rents should be able to come out of standard benefits...

if you have to pay 150 in rent a week and get 70 in dole that how far we have gone wrong.

still we all have the right to own our own homes ...fk what the consequences are Laugh

go to another country and you get benefits based on what you have put into the system.

the problem lies from within the country

Scotland is a bit like London in so much that it is not a good representation of the UK as a whole ,middle England will decide and they will not be using the reasons people in Scotland/London will ,London will be split as will Scotland ,Northern Ire will be split and so will Wales but middle England and the North will base their decision on more than just simple perceived economic gains/losses imo .Ordinary folk that have seen the country change beyond recognition ,people who will be asking themselves basic questions about exactly what the EU means to them ,what it was first put in place to do and what it is actually doing.
People that see  constant talk of poor Immigrants and their needs but never here jack about their own needs ,infrastructure depleted ,NHS overrun ,schools bursting at the seams and job prospects for their kids reduced ,johnny foreigner marching in and getting a good leg up but their picture becoming bleaker by the year ,is that what the EU intended ?
They are sick of being flanneled and now have the opportunity to do something about it ,threats of dire consequences ,particularly  from the BOE of interest rate rises will fall on deaf ears ,they have been saying they are going up anyway for a long time ,now they will go up  whatever box they tick ,so that makes that one easy to ignore .
100 years since we fought on European  soil and done our bit to prevent Central Europe turning into something nasty and evil only to be reeled into being part of something that is threatening our way of life  and something that we have little control over ,i have a feeling most in middle England are not for rolling over and having their belly tickled any more ,when the day comes many will not have changed their mind one iota and they will do whats right for them and the country as a whole ,a new beginning and a change will hopefully dawn and the UK can prosper and grow to the benefit of all ,particularly the hard working ordinary man in the street .
EU is at a crossroads ,exactly what the plan was or is remains a mystery to most imo .
